Karey & Jacob | Six Foot Intern Gross Farms Styled Engagement!

This year, I had the INCREDIBLE opportunity to intern with Amber of Six Foot Photography! I am so honored to work and learn alongside this AMAZING photographer! Amber is someone I admired from Day 1 of my photography business. She is so talented, driven, and an inspiration to all who meet her! When she brought Krista onto her team, I remember thinking what a blessing it would be if I ever got the chance to work with them.

Earlier this year, Amber and Krista posted that they were HIRING. I couldn’t believe it. I applied, and I prayed that if this opportunity was in God’s plan for me, He would see that it happened.

I received an email shortly after that said Amber wanted to MEET with me!!! AHHH! I was SO excited and SO nervous!!! I had an engagement session on the same day of our meeting, and left straight from Amber’s to my session. On the drive home that evening, Amber sent me an email (!!!) I pulled over and starting crying HAPPY tears – she chose me to be one of her interns!!!!

Needless to say, I am still on cloud nine and falling more in love with my job everyday! Not only have I had amazing opportunities, I have gained so many sweet friends! Including #sixfootinterns Katie Britt and Sydney Ledford – such beautiful souls!!

At one of our first meetings, she asked what our dream engagement session would look like. I immediately started dreaming up all of the ideas I’ve had, but never had the chance to fulfill. I knew I wanted a huge bouquet of flowers, accompanied with a canoe and water. 🙂 Amber said that she would make it happen! We marked our calendars and planned for April! We couldn’t have asked for better weather that day, and our models were perfect! Amy of Plume Events created the bouquet I envisioned – isn’t she so talented?! I can’t thank Amber enough for making my dream engagement session come true!
