When Ashlie contacted me to tell me she got engaged, I was SO EXCITED!!! Ashlie had been a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed last summer, and she was so happy with her experience with me as a bridesmaid that she knew she wanted me to photograph her wedding, too! (so sweet!!)

Ashlie and Kolbey are adorable and I am so happy to start my fall wedding season with this pair! Anddd if you haven’t noticed, Ashlie picked a PERFECT spot for their engagement photos – and it was totally by accident! We pulled up to a farm in Saint Pauls, NC, and this beautiful sunflower field was tucked away at the very back of the property! We nearly hit the ground running when we saw the bright yellow blooms smiling our way 🙂 Here are a few favorites of our time together!
