Katie & Matt drove all the way from Athens, Georgia for their engagement session and they completelyyy captivated me with their genuine, bubbly, and energetic love for each other! I loved my evening spent with these two, and I especially loved hearing about Matt’s oceanside proposal 🙂

It was the hottest day of the year, and families were filling the beaches in the midday sun. Katie and Matt had planned on going to eat at a beachside restaurant, when Matt realized he had “forgotten” his wallet. Katie and Matt were walking along the water, back to the beach house for Matt’s wallet. They had walked about half way when Matt said, “Katie, I didn’t forget my wallet…” Katie turned around to see Matt on one knee, asking for her hand. Tears filled her eyes as she said “YES!” All of their friends and family were there to celebrate with them, and they even captured DRONE footage of the entire proposal!!! Katie and Matt will celebrate their marriage on the SAME date as their proposal at their favorite coastal city and my heart is SO happy to capture MORE moments like these below 🙂
