Mindy & Brandon | Part II Wedding Ceremony

We’re partying like its October 8th, 2016.

After the big day, most would agree that every bride would love to do it all over again and soak up every ounce of sweetness just one more time. Last night was all that sweetness and more for Mindy and Brandon.

I love this story – it shows just how strong of a bond a granddaughter has with her grandparents. It tugs at my heart strings because I know a lot of brides (myself included) who would give anything to have their Papa and their Grandma with them on the day they say “I do” to the man of their dreams – the same man that their Grandparents prayed would take their granddaughters hand. The man that God hand-picked for you.

Many prayers went up the week before October 8th for Mindy’s grandparents, who were unable to attend the wedding because of an unexpected illness. Mindy’s Grandparents wanted nothing more than to see their sweet Malinda Grace walk down the aisle – and last night, on the front lawn of Mindy’s farmhouse – their grandparents were there to be a part of something they missed on October 8th.

Mindy and Brandon exchanged vows, and Mindy was wearing her Grandmother’s engagement ring – the same ring her Grandmother gave to her mom on her wedding day.

They say you never know love until you have a child of your own. And just when you think you’ve exceeded the capacity of love in your heart, God blesses you with a grandchild. You could feel the love that Mindy and Brandon’s Grandparents had for them during their ceremony last night – and I was reminded of God’s love for us –

“We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

Last night was so full of joy.

I’m so blessed to have been there to see it a second time – and I cried like it was the first time.

Love this family so much.
